The Nano-Tec silver coated microscope slides and coverslips are intended for microscopy, AFM / SPM, nanotechnology, reflectometry and optical applications. They are also useful as opaque light microscopy supports or silver coated substrates for experiments. The Borofloat 33 microscope slides and coverslips are pre-cleaned before coating and coated with Ag over an adhesion layer of Ti. Both Tir and Ag are deposited in a dedicated high vacuum deposition system with electron beam evaporation sources. The available silver coating thicknesses are: 10nm, 50nm, 100nm and 500nm Ag. The silver coating is not atomically flat; there are height differences in the nm range. The microscope slide are packed in a slide mailer and the coverslips are packed in a GEL-Pak box.
