Adapter for stubs and holders with standard pin and M4 threaded holes
Introduction
The EM-Tec stub adapters are drop-in replacements for the flat head SEC stubs. The low costs stub adapters allow for using other stubs and holders on the SEC SEM. The vast selection of pin stubs and sample holders allows the operator to optimize the SEC SEM for a vast range of different applications. There are two types of EM-Tec stub adapters for the SEC SEMs:
- EM-Tec P3 pin stub adapters for all pin stubs and small sample holders equipped with the standard Ø3.15 mm pin. It has diameter of 11.8mm with a height of 10mm and fits directly on the sample stage of the SEC SNE-Alpha. Especially useful for using the popular pin stubs, pin stub type holders, pin stub storage boxes and calibration standards mounted on a pin stub.
- EM-Tec S4 stub adapter with M4 screw compatible with all Hitachi M4 threaded stubs and the EM-Tec sample holder with M4 threaded hole. It has a diameter of 11.8mm and a height of 6mm and fits directly on the sample stage of the SEC SNE-Alpha. Ideally suited to use the EM-Tec sample holders with an M4 threaded hole.
