The Micro-Tec sticky gel carrier boxes are designed to transport, protect and store sensitive samples, parts and devices. The boxes contain a layer of silicone based crossed linked gel in the base of the box. They are intended for flat samples with a smooth surface such as silicon substrate chips, semiconductor devices, MEMS, optoelectronics, optics, etc. Samples with a smooth surface easily adhere to the sticky gel. They can be easily removed from the gel surface using tweezers. The retention level depends on the smoothness and weight of the sample surface. The Micro-tec gel carrier boxes are comparable to the GEL-Pak boxes with retention level X4. The hinged boxes include a printed grid for easy sample location, a black base and a clear lid. Additionally available with an antistatic black ABS base for ESD sensitive parts. Available in 4 sizes:

- Micro-Tec GB32 clear/black gel carrier box, inside dimensions 60x47x10mm, grid area 50x29mm
- Micro-Tec GB33 clear/black gel carrier box, inside dimensions 75x75x7mm, grid area 60x60mm
- Micro-Tec GB44 clear/black gel carrier box, inside dimensions 105x105x8mm, grid area 90x90mm
