General definition of mesh is pitches per inch. For wire mesh this is the number of openings per inch.
 
Introduction

Micro-Tec nylon woven thread cloths are useful for sorting, screening, filtration, separation and immersion applications for sample preparation and laboratory applications. This polyamide (PA6) mesh is generally abrasion resistant and can be used up to 120°Celcius (compatible with boiling water). Colour is translucent white to opaque. If needed, nylon mesh can be steam, ETO or gamma sterilized. See the chemical compatibility chart for chemical resistance. Features of the Nylon mesh are:

  • generally good abrasion resistance
  • smooth surface
  • wide range of mesh sizes
  • fair with acids & oxidizing agents, good with alkalis and excellent with solvents
  • easy to cut to size with standard lab scissors

The Micro-Tec nylon woven mesh is available in 20, 40, 50, ,80, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 350, 400, 450 and 500 mesh with a size of  30x30 or 100 x 100 cm.
