The Integra Miltex Biopsy punch with plunger system is high quality coring tool, designed to cut, core, punch and retrieve smaller samples of thin and soft materials such as paper, plastics, films, gels, tissues, fabric, cloth, paint and coatings. It is the ideal tool to cut smaller samples from larger sheets or films of softer materials for subsequent microscopy investigations and SEM/EDS analysis. There are 5 different coring diameters available: 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 3.0 and 4 mm with a maximum coring depth of 7mm. Spring-loaded internal plunger ejection system with locking mechanism for secure removal and transfer of coring samples.

The Biopsy punches with plunger system are intended as disposable coring tools. However, when cross- contamination between samples is not an issue, these robust coring tools are reusable after cleaning.
Cleaning tip: Clean the cutting tip after each sampling by coring clean filter paper, rinse with ethanol or remove dried artifacts with compressed air.
